Male arrested for possession of bladed article

Good afternoon residents, 

Today, South Tottenham officers were conducting area checks at known drug hotspots. Upon arriving at a location known for anti-social behaviour and drug use, officers stopped 4 individuals.

Through the use of stop and search, we have arrested one male for being in possession of a bladed article, and the weapon has now been seized by officers and taken off the streets. 

Your local team remains committed to tackling knife crime and violence across the ward, and we will be conducting more weapon sweeps to make your neighbourhood safer.
