Local Priorities Drink/Drug driving Concern Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Drink driving, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Even if you feel okay to drive after drinking alcohol or taking drugs, your judgement may be wrong. Very small amounts of alcohol or drugs can impair your concentration, reaction time, coordination, decision-making, making driving more dangerous.

In short: never drive after drinking alcohol or taking drugs, even if you think you're fit to drive.
