For awareness a white Ford Transit Van has been reported in the area of Scotter, acting in a suspicious manner. The vehicle has entered a private farm yard on 10/07/2025 and on being challenged, has stated they “took a wrong turn”. This has happened to the same person twice on different days. On attending the area today we were alerted to the theft of a trailer from a private drive on Messingham Road, Scotter. We think this has occurred sometime overnight 10/07/26 > 11/07/26. The trailer was not on view from the road and the offender has had to enter the driveway to know it was there. Any information on this crime can be given to Lincolnshire Police quoting occurrence 26000409162. Please if you have gates or similar, try and use them when retiring for the evening. It may just be enough to deter an opportunist from targeting your property. |
