Good afternoon Ramsgate,

Your local Neighbourhood Task Force officers were out on market day, engaging with the community and carrying out patrols. Unfortunately, our time in the town centre was shorter than we would have liked, as officers were required to deal with an arrest involving a persistent offender who was wanted for outstanding domestic abuse offences and for breaching the conditions of their Community Protection Notice.

While this meant we were unable to spend as much time in the area as planned, taking positive action against those who cause harm within our communities remains a key priority.

We would like to thank those residents and businesses who stopped to speak with us today. Your information, concerns and feedback are invaluable in helping us keep Ramsgate a safe place to live, work and visit.
