Fishing in Warwickshire

The Rural Crime Team have received a few reports in relation to illegal fishing along our waterways. 

To fish legally in Warwickshire, you must have an official rod fishing licence and a local permit (or day ticket) to fish the specific water. The Rural Crime Team and Environment Agency will continue carrying out proactive patrols, checking fisheries, and taking action against those involved in illegal fishing, poaching, and other offences that impact our rural communities and wildlife.

If you witness suspicious activity around rivers, fisheries, or rural locations, please report it to us via 101, www.warwickshire.police and always 999 in an emergency.
