PACT Meeting Update – Roundhay |
||
|
Last week Sergeant Katkowski hosted the Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting at Brackenwood Community Association. This was his first meeting as the newly appointed ward Sergeant for the Roundhay area, and we appreciated the attendance and support of local councillors. We were also pleased to welcome PC Bower, who joined as part of his officer development.
PACT meetings give the local community the opportunity to meet their neighbourhood policing team, raise concerns, and hear updates on police work. The conversations we have during these meetings help shape the day-to-day priorities of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), ensuring we address the issues that matter most to you.
On Tuesday, we were pleased to see a strong turnout of local residents. One of the main concerns raised was antisocial behaviour, which was discussed in detail. Following these conversations, plans have been developed and partner agencies have been contacted.
Actions agreed at the meeting: Increased police patrols targeting speeding and nuisance vehicles on Brackenwood Drive Joint working between Leeds Cleaner Neighbourhood Team and the Neighbourhood Policing Team to prevent and tackle ongoing fly-tipping around Wellhouse Crescent If you have any issues you would like to discuss, please do join us at the next PACT meeting on Tuesday 11th August at Brackenwood Community Association. The meeting starts at 5:15pm, and anyone living or working in Roundhay is welcome to attend.
If you would like to speak to us in the meantime, please use our online form and a member of the team will respond within 72 hours. https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/my-neighbourhood/contact-your-local-neighbourhood-policing-team | ||
