Burglary & Theft of Vehicle Near You - Southlands, Baildon BD17

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message as you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Southlands, Baildon. Sometime between 2am and 3am on 08/07/2026, the suspect entered the address through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspect located the keys to the victim's silver Peugeot Partner van and made off in the vehicle. 

At 6.30am we received a call from a member of the public reporting that the stolen van had crashed into their parked vehicle and that the driver had tried to run off.  We are grateful to the member of the public, who was able to detain the suspect until officers arrived and arrested the 17 year old male suspect.
