Theft from Commercial Vehicle – Wylye Road, Warminster to Sand Street, Longbridge Deverill

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following the theft of a contractor’s van and specialist roofing tools on Tuesday 7 July, between 11:00am and 4:00pm.

The victim’s white Vauxhall Vivaro was parked on Sand Street, Longbridge Deverill, near the bridge over the river towards Sutton Veny, when offenders forced entry by cutting a hole in the side of the van and stole a large quantity of valuable tools.

Investigators believe those responsible may have followed the roofing contractors from an earlier job on Wylye Road, Warminster, before targeting the unattended vehicle.

We are particularly keen to identify two vehicles seen in the area:

🚐 A silver van with damage to the passenger door.

🚐 A white roofing-style van with blue writing, believed to display the name “LS Roofing” or “LM Roofing” (or something similar).

There were reportedly three male occupants between the two vehicles.
