Hot Weather Security Reminder

With the warmer weather continuing, please remember to keep home security in mind when opening windows and doors to stay cool.

🔒 Ensure doors are locked when rooms are unattended. 

🔒 Avoid leaving windows open on the ground floor or where they can be easily accessed. 

🔒 Keep valuables such as car keys, handbags, wallets and mobile phones out of sight and away from open windows. 

🔒 Secure sheds, garages and outbuildings, particularly if storing bikes or tools. 

🔒 If you're spending time in the garden, make sure the front of your property remains secure. 

🔒 Report any suspicious activity via 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Many opportunist burglaries occur when insecure doors or windows allow easy access. Taking a few simple precautions can help keep your home and belongings safe while you enjoy the sunshine.
