🚔 DRUGS SEIZED AND SUSPECT ARRESTED – TEAM 2 🚔

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have today stopped a vehicle that had previously made off from officers several days ago.

Following proactive patrols, officers sighted the vehicle and successfully brought it to a stop. The vehicle and its occupant were searched under police powers, resulting in the recovery of a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs.

The male occupant was subsequently arrested and taken into police custody, where he remains while enquiries continue.

As part of the subsequent investigation, officers conducted a search of the male's home address. During this search, officers recovered further quantities of suspected Class A, Class B and Class C drugs, all of which have been seized for forensic examination and investigation.

This is another positive result demonstrating our commitment to tackling drug-related criminality and protecting our communities from the harm caused by illegal substances. Through proactive policing and targeted enforcement activity, officers continue to identify and disrupt those suspected of being involved in criminal activity.
