What’s been happening? Good news

Officers visited Elizabeth House on Pedmore Road in Lye to speak to residents there about staying safe when on line banking and how to recognise internet and telephone scams

The Life in Lye project secured funding for Rufford Primary School and for Wollescote Primary School children to make mosaics.  These beautiful pieces of art will now be placed in their respective schools.  They have also collaborated together and have made a mosaic for Lye Library which will displayed on their wall inside the library.  Everyone who took part should be proud of what they have achieved.

Due to the heat we have had to postpone the visit from West Midlands Police Horses who were due to join us for our ASB patrols on Wednesday 8 July 2026.

One motorbike on cloned plates has been seized for no insurance and one Mercedes was also seized for no insurance.

We have identified a number of shoplifters that have been targeting the One Stop, Hungary Hill.  They have been marked as outstanding and will be arrested in due course.

Officers have received their training on using DNA spray which can be used to target off road motorcycles safely enabling us to be able to identify the bikes and riders after the event.
