🚔 Shoplifter Sentenced Following Swift Response by Northwood Officers 🚔

Dear Residents,

On Friday 26 June 2026, officers received a call from Tesco, Maxwell Road, Northwood, reporting that prolific shoplifter Sunny Patel was in the store and involved in an altercation with security staff.

The Northwood Safer Neighbourhood Team quickly attended the scene and arrested Patel.

Our enquiries revealed that Patel was responsible for 11 shoplifting offences across Northwood and Northwood Hills, causing significant impact to local retailers and staff.

Following his arrest and court appearance, Sunny Patel was sentenced to 36 weeks in custody.
