Local SNT Arrest at POPLAR DLR

Officers from local safer Neighbourhood team have arrested one individual at Poplar DLR for possession of a knife and suspected controlled drugs. 

The arrest was made during proactive policing in the area and demonstrates the team's ongoing commitment to tackling violent crime and drug-related offences. Removing weapons and suspected drugs from our streets helps to improve community safety and reduce the rise of harm.

Local SNT officers  will continue to carry out high-visibility patrols, act on intelligence and work with partners to keep Poplar a safe place for residents, workers and visitors.
