Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams

On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks

We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.

Four Oaks Neighbourhood

Residential Burglary

Hill Hook Road -Thursday 2nd July at 05.00hrs offenders have entered the property by cutting the lock to the patio door, stealing the car keys to a Black BMW.

New Hall Neighbourhood

Theft of Motor vehicle

Berryfields Estate Tuesday 30th June between 15.00hrs a Red Jaguar was stolen by unknown means.

First Avenue – Thursday 2nd July at 22.00hrs a Red Skoda Citigo was stolen by unknown means.

 If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.

 Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.

Surgeries

The Cosy Coffee Shop and St James Church, Mere Green.

Spoke to local residents about issues in the area and gave crime prevention advice.

Street Watch

Hill Village Street Watch has been out on patrol, posting burglary crime prevention to residents.
