Dear All Beam Park Residents,
Dog Causing Fear or Distress in a Children's Play AreaChildren's play areas are intended to be safe and enjoyable spaces for young people. If a dog is barking aggressively, lunging, or behaving in a manner that causes people—particularly children—to feel frightened or intimidated, owners should take immediate steps to control the situation. Dog owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are under proper control at all times. Even if a dog does not bite or make physical contact, persistent barking, growling, or rushing towards people can cause alarm and distress, especially to young children. If a dog is causing concern in a play area: Advice for dog owners: Responsible dog ownership helps ensure that public spaces remain safe and welcoming for everyone. If your dog's behaviour is causing fear or distress to others, particularly children, take action immediately to regain control and remove the dog from the area if necessary. | ||
