Catapult update

Whilst officers were on patrol in Victoria Park over the weekend they spotted a couple of youths firing a catapult. These youths made off trying to avoid police but they were soon tracked down heading towards the town centre and a catapult was seized. 

Ashford child centred policing team continue to do interventions with youths in relation to catapults and a number of outcomes have been delivered to children who are caught with or using a catapult. 

Catapults remain a top priority and we continue to work with youths and deal with people appropriately who are seen using them in an unlawful manor.
