Summer Safety Reminder from Your Local Safer Neighbourhood Team

Dear Residents,

As we enjoy the warmer weather and longer days, please take a few simple steps to protect your property and help prevent crime:

Always lock doors and windows, even when you're at home or in the garden.

Don't leave valuables such as phones, wallets, handbags or car keys visible in your vehicle.

Secure bicycles with a good-quality lock and record the frame number.

Be mindful when posting holiday updates on social media, as this can indicate that your home is unoccupied.

Ask a trusted neighbour, friend or relative to keep an eye on your property if you're away.

Report any suspicious behaviour or concerns to the police.

Working together, we can help keep our neighbourhoods safe throughout the summer.
