Good evening, A busy week for The Dudley North Neighbourhood Team. ✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team this week! A drop-in surgery was held at Sedgley Library with the Dudley North Neighbourhood Team discussing local concerns such as off-road bikes and ASB.Dudley North Neighbourhood Team conducted a joint walk-about with the council ASB team in Sedgley, patrolling hot spot areas for ASB and off-road bikes.This week we saw ASB week of action, where the Dudley North Neighbourhood Team, Netherton Neighbourhood Team, Guardian Taskforce and the council ASB team worked together in a joint op targeting hot spot areas for ASB and off-road bikes. Working our way through Dudley & Netherton. The council ASB team deployed the council drone to give support with off-road bikes.During our joint operation, the NHT had 5 arrests for arson, 1 arrest for illegal vapes, a driving offence and possession of an illegal weapon.7 stop searches were also conducted this week to deter ASB and serious youth violence.Dudley North Neighbourhood Team PCSO attended the local school for a summer fayre, taking the drugs dog along to show the children and staff.We have been conducting plain clothes patrols in a covert vehicle in Sedgley this week.Two neighbourhood PCSO’s supported our Brierley hill colleagues with a scene.Dudley Neighbourhood Team have been joined by the Special Constables this week.Dudley Neighbourhood Team also started Summer Of Action, patrolling Sedgley to deter ASB. 📅Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅 Sedgley Hum Bugs Café drop-in surgery – 10/07/26 at 12:00am.
