Monthly Community Update from Sgt Phil Woodland – June 2026

I hope this message finds you well. As we move through July, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area in the last month, what’s coming up this month, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.

🔍 Local Priorities

Our current focus areas include:

Shoplifting – Targeting offender sand supporting stores and local shops owners.

Anti-Social Behaviour – This remains a priority and will continue with the summer holidays fast approaching.

Drug Dealing – Preventing drug dealing and disrupting activity in our communities.

We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas, and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise.

🤝 Partnership Working

We’ve been working closely with:

Ceredigion County Council

Local community Councils.

Local Schools.

These collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs.

Joint visits with ASB Housing Officer.

School visits and end of school community events.

🗞️ Round-Up from Various Wards

Here’s a snapshot of key updates across our patch:

Enforcement of Vape and Barber shops – e.g., Successful joint work with agencies targeting illegal activities.

DP Connects - visits have been carried out in various locations to promote the Connects Service

ASB warning letters – Letters served to persons causing ASB in and around our communities.
