Working Together to Keep Hayes Safe

Your Hayes Town Safer Neighbourhood Team will be out and about on patrol in the town centre and surrounding areas over the coming days. If you see us while we're on patrol, please don't hesitate to come over and say hello. We're always happy to speak with residents, listen to your concerns, answer questions, and discuss any issues affecting your local community.

As always, we'd like to remind everyone to take a few simple steps to help keep themselves and their property safe:

Keep mobile phones, wallets and other valuables out of sight when walking through busy areas.

Stay aware of your surroundings, particularly when using your phone or wearing headphones.

Ensure homes, vehicles and bicycles are locked and secured, even if leaving them unattended for a short period.

Never leave valuables on display in your vehicle.

Be cautious of scams, whether they are online, over the phone or at your door. If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and seek advice.

Report any suspicious behaviour to police as soon as possible.

Strong communities are built when residents and police work together. Your information, no matter how small it may seem, can help us tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and make Hayes a safer place for everyone.
