ASB Awareness Week: Working Together for Safer Communities Across East Herts

Dear Resident,

This week (29 June – 5 July) is ASB Awareness Week, and your local Neighbourhood Policing Teams have been out across East Herts listening to residents, engaging with young people and addressing concerns raised by our communities.

Throughout the week, officers have carried out a range of activities, including:

✅ High-visibility patrols in Buntingford
✅ Bike safety and bike marking events in Hertford
✅ School assemblies and youth engagement in Ware
✅ Knife crime awareness presentations for Year 7 students at Birchwood High School, Bishop's Stortford
✅ Educational talks on antisocial behaviour, e-scooters and youth offending
✅ Welcoming local students to Bishop's Stortford Police Station for a behind-the-scenes look at neighbourhood policing

ASB Awareness Week is about more than enforcement. It is an opportunity to work alongside residents, schools, businesses and community groups to help make our neighbourhoods safer, stronger and more welcoming for everyone.
