Gold chain snatches - Northolt Road

There has been a number of gold chain snatches reported over recent months, we believe this has increased due to the warmer weather that we are experiencing. 

Staying safe is about listening and being aware of what and who is around you. 

if possible keep your jewellery covered with a chiffon scarf or shirt collar. 

Don't take short cuts through dark places, walk in the middle of the pavement facing traffic, so vehicles can't follow you. 

If someone does try to snatch your chain, let it go and don't fight to keep it - you're less likely to get hurt. 

Report it immediately  to the police.
