Good Afternoon Resident

Over the last seven days there has been, three Burglaries one on Oak Tree Lane, one on Harborne Lane and the other on Alton Road, Offender/s have stolen two electric scooters, tools and other electrical items.

There were two theft of motor vehicles on Fashoda Road a blue Honda CR-V and a white Fiat 500. We have also had 3 theft from motor vehicles one on Hobson Road, Katie Road and Chapel Lane. Items stolen were 2 wallets containing bank cards/driver licences, and an Ipad.

Officers are investigating these crime and patrols are in place. PCSO's attended Sellywick Pre School to talk about keeping safe.

Crime Prevention Advice

Ensure all windows on your vehicles are shut and doors are locked

Never leave valuables in your vehicles

Invest in a full steering wheel lock for your steering wheel and anti tamper screws for your registration plates.

switch a radio channel on at home to a talking station so it sounds like someone is home

purchase timer switches to plug lamps into to switch on and off through out the evening.

invest in anti-snap locks for your exterior doors on your property and ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked.
