Today PC Hall had an udderly ridiculous start to her shift when not 1, not 2 but 18 cows enjoyed an unplanned wonder into the streets of Liskeard. The steaks seemed high as they had made their way onto the road but thankfully members of the public managed to herd them into the courtyard of a near-by property! We're pleased to report the situation is now pasture concern after the farmer arrived and every one of our hoofed escape artists was safely rounded up and returned home, with no injuries and no beef. Just a reminder to all, if you open a gate to access a field, please ensure it is closed behind you and secured in the way in which you found it to keep our lovely farm animals safe.
