Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 12.09am on Wednesday 1 July in Newstead Close, Selston, a report of a neighbours property being burgled by a male, slim build, in a long sleeve dark jacket and dark trousers and wearing a cap. The caller thinks his dog may have scared him off, he got into a white van and drove off. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle At 12.50am on Thursday 25 June in Park Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a blue Kia Sportage was stolen by two males wearing dark clothing with reflective strips on the shoulders. One male got into the vehicle and drove away the second male ran off towards Sutton Road. Between 4.00am on Friday 26 and 5.30pm on Monday 29 June in Dabek Rise, Kirkby in Ashfield, a black Kia Sorrento estate was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to Report Violence against person At 1.19pm on Wednesday 1 July at the Co-op Food Store, Skegby Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white male, 6-00”, dark hair with grey roots in a ponytail, wearing a black polo shirt, denim jeans, was being aggressive to staff on the till and threatened to bite the nose off one. He was denied service and threw down his shopping basket knocking over a stack of tea bags. Criminal Damage Around 6.00pm on Tuesday 30 June in recreation Road, Annesleythe glass was smashed in a downstairs bay window. Around 1.47am on Wednesday 1 July in Southwell Lane, Kirkby in Ashfield, the wall to a property was damaged. ASB At 6.46pm on Monday 29 June in Byron Road, Annesley, a report of two off road bikes being ridden at speed in the conservation area called Middle Ground and up and down Mosley Road and Byron Road. Between 6.43pmand 6.58pm on Monday 29 June in Forest Street, Annesley Woodhouse, a group of youths kicked a house door leaving a footprint. Descriptions 1. Black male, 14/16 years old, 5-05”, medium build, black hair, a faint moustache, black clothing with hood up; 2. White male, 5-04”, larger build, large black cap; 3. White male, 13/14 year old, dark clothing. Went up Forest Street towards Acacia Park. At 6.15am on Wednesday 1 July in Portland Park. Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of two 14/15year old males on e-bikes riding close to people and being a nuisance in the area around the Wild Rabbit Cafe. One dressed all in Black the second in a green t-shirt, neither wearing helmets.
