Educating Students on Anti-Social Behaviour and Joint Enterprise |
||
|
Good afternoon, I was welcomed into Folkestone Academy today to deliver presentations to students on a range of topics, including Anti-Social Behaviour. We discussed the importance of spending time in the community with friends while also understanding how certain actions and behaviours can be perceived as anti-social and may have consequences for both individuals and the wider community. During the session, we also focused on the concept of Joint Enterprise, discussing how individuals can face criminal consequences for assisting, encouraging, or becoming involved in criminal activity committed by others. We explored how people can be held accountable for the actions of their friends if they knowingly participate in, support, or encourage criminal behaviour. The aim was to help students understand the importance of making positive choices. We also discussed a range of other important topics, including the consequences of drug use, staying safe online, and the risks of sextortion. Students were provided with information about partner agencies and how to contact them, helping them to recognise potential risks and know where to seek support if needed. Kind regards Kerry
