Neighbourhood Policing Update – Nitrous Oxide Seizures |
||
|
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team has recently seized two vehicles that were being used to store large quantities of nitrous oxide. These vehicles were brought to our attention following reports from members of the public regarding suspicious activity in the area. Following police enquiries, both vehicles were recovered as having been used in criminal activity and will not be returned to the owner. As a result of these seizures, officers recovered more than 16 boxes of nitrous oxide, equating to 96 canisters. Nitrous oxide is a Class C controlled drug, and removing these canisters from circulation helps to keep our communities safer. We would like to thank residents who reported their concerns. Information provided by the public plays a vital role in helping us identify and tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in our neighbourhoods. If you have concerns about criminal activity in your area, you can report them by: Working together, we can continue to make our communities safer.
