Cannabis Factory Found in North Bermondsey

On 30 June 2026, whilst on ASB Patrols, Safer Neighbourhood Team Officers Milena, Carina, Kev, Joel and Paul attended an address in Moreton House, Slippers Place, SE16 following community concerns regarding suspected drug activity and anti-social behaviour.

Officers discovered 284 cannabis plants being cultivated inside the property. A male found at the address was also identified as being wanted on recall to prison and was subsequently arrested for this and drugs offences.

The male remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
