Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour - Op Snap |
Dear Resident Do you know the Highway Code? Due to the increasing rise in incidents against School Crossing Patrols, Warwickshire County Council can now issue body worn cameras to the Patrols. Cameras help to capture drivers who fail to stop when indicated to do so by the Stop sign being raised and leaned into the carriageway. This evidence can be passed on to Warwickshire Police via Op Snap. If the driver has committed a moving traffic offence, they could receive a fine and 3 penalty points. You can submit video footage of moving traffic offences here: https://www.warwickshire.police.uk/.../operation-snap/...
Remember to always call 999 in an emergency. There are also a number of other ways you can get in touch such as by reporting online or calling 101. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Thank you for your support in keeping our neighbourhoods safe.
