Man charged with drug offences.

We have charged a man with drugs offences following a stop and search in Skelmersdale.

Officers from West Lancs Task Force stopped a car on Beechtrees on 1st July 2025. Following a search of the driver and the vehicle, officers found a quantity of cannabis, cash and three mobile phones.

A further search of a nearby property found a large amount of cash and more cannabis.

An 18 year old man arrested at the scene was released under investigation and we can now tell you that following further investigations and consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Leo Wall, 19, of Martins Lane, Skelmersdale has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possessing criminal property.

It aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation, and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.
