Hello Resident, We hope you are keeping well. Below is our monthly Newsletter for July and a quick update as to what we have been up to since our last update. Our crime reduction catalogue is also attached to this email. We will be at the Burbage Community Library from around 11:00 - 13:00 on Thursday 2nd July, discussing scams and general crime reduction. Feel free to pop along if you are interested. Report from Greenmoor Road (near the Applebee road junction) this morning at 02:05 where several suspects have arrived in a vehicle and it appears they have targeted the vehicle on the drive. Nothing taken as they got disturbed but if you have any CCTV in the area, please take a look. 26000384171. As there have been several attempt vehicle thefts over recent weeks, if you have a high value vehicle, please review your home security as well as vehicle security. We are looking for some CCTV of a group of youths (up to 20 youths, aged around 14/15 yrs old) that have been a bit of a nuisance around Jubilee Way/Square area on Friday 19th June, around 17:00-20:00. If you have any footage, please get in touch asap. Darren.stretton@leics.police.uk We have been completing work including additional patrols around the Britannia Road play fields due to several reports of criminal damage, bullying and a small fire (which was thankfully put out by a resident before it caused big problems). We have engaged with youths and continue to monitor the area and speak to local schools. If you have any teenage children, please be aware of what they are up to during the evenings in this area as we are receiving increased reports, probably due to final exam week and the hot weather.
