Our Trust and Confidence Survey 2026

Dear Residents, 

Neighbourhood policing is about building strong relationships between the police and local communities. By working closely with residents, local businesses and community groups, neighbourhood policing helps identify local concerns & priorities, helps deter crime and provides a visible policing presence within our communities. We aim to build stronger relationships with our communities by being seen and having conversations with people whilst on patrol.

As well as this it gives local residents and community members the opportunity to tell us how we are doing -  Your views help us understand what matters most to you, identify priorities for residents. The below survey gives you the opportunity to have your say by telling us what’s working, what isn’t, and where they think our priorities and focus should be in the local area.

Our survey will take around five minutes to complete.

Taking part is completely voluntary and all responses will be treated confidentially. Your honest feedback is valued and will helps us better understand the needs of the community.

We will not ask anyone to identify themselves, and no individual response will be identified through analysis.

This survey will be available on the South Wales Listens platform until Monday, July 13

The results from this survey will be posted on the South Wales Police website later this year.
