This morning Mayesbrook and Becontree officers carried out ward patrols around Mayesbrook Park/Academy Way and Waterside Close dealing with ASB issues that we had been informed off.
We were then joined by Barking & Dagenham Council and Becontree ward Councillors to carryout routine patrols along Gainsborough Road continuing to provide a visible presence to their residents and addressing any concerns they have been having. We then moved onto Becontree Avenue (Robinhood Parade) and then onto Green Lane (Rowallen Parade) to discuss concerns around those areas. It was great to chat with our councillors and speak with some of our businesses on the issue of fly tipping in each location, we will be working in collaboration with the environmental team and other partners to address these issues in the coming weeks.
As always please do not hesitate to contact us via this met engage platform regarding any issues you may have and if you see us out and about please come and say hi and speak with us.
If you require us to visit your street please send us a message and we will be happy to meet you there for a patrol.
Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. There are 13 different types of antisocial behaviour that we may be able to help with, including abandoned vehicles, littering or drugs paraphernalia and street drinking. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.
If you have witnessed or experienced antisocial behaviour, you can report it online.
If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
