Antisocial Behaviour

Dear Residents, 

You may notice a few more signs appearing over the coming week. These will be put up by your local community officers in known hot-spot areas across Wigston. This is to tackle ongoing issues with vehicles being used in an antisocial manner. This along with patrols in the area at material times and challenging those in being anti-social, can help deter this act in these areas. 

These signs are both a warning and act as a reminder to those who are conducting anti-social behaviour that these areas are actively monitored and enforcement may be taken against anyone found causing disruption. 

Antisocial use of vehicles can include excessive speeding, revving engines, drug usage, dangerous driving etc. It is any behaviour that is ongoing that causes harassment, alarm and distress. 

We remain committed to keeping our community safe and it be a peaceful place for everyone. If you witness any issues, please report them through the appropriate channels. Your information can help us build a clearer picture and support ongoing work in these areas.
