SNT operation

Good morning,

The Metropolitan Police are currently carrying out an operation to protect local shops from shoplifting and theft.

Yesterday, our Safer Neighbourhood Team from Shadwell, Whitechapel and St Katharine's and Wapping, visited several local stores, including Iceland, Sainsbury’s and Tesco. During this operation, officers arrested an individual who was recalled to prison.

Our SNT will continue to carry out these operations regularly, both in uniform and in plain clothes.
