Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week – Engagement Update |
||
|
As part of Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week, Gravesend CSU attended Gravesend Town Centre alongside the Gravesham Borough Council Anti-Social Behaviour Team. The event saw positive engagement with members of the public, with a steady flow of residents stopping to speak with officers and council staff throughout the day. We are pleased to report: 🔹 Multiple MCV sign-ups — Members of the public registered for My Community Voice (MCV). This means they will now receive direct updates from local policing teams, including crime prevention advice, local alerts, and information relevant to their area. It also allows better two-way communication, helping residents stay informed and engaged. 🔹 Community engagement — We had meaningful conversations with local residents, listening to their concerns and building stronger relationships within the community. 🔹 Matters reported — Several issues relating to anti-social behaviour were raised and recorded for further action and review. 🔹 Questions answered — Officers and council representatives provided reassurance, answered questions, and explained how reports are dealt with. 🔹 Advice given — We offered practical anti-social behaviour advice, including how to report incidents, available support pathways, and steps individuals can take to help prevent issues in their neighbourhoods. This joint engagement highlights the importance of partnership working between police and local authorities, and we thank everyone who took the time to come and speak with us. 👮♂️ Your information helps us act — please continue to report concerns and stay connected with us through MCV. | ||
