Good afternoon all,

As promised, here is our next priority moving into the summer months. 

Priority 2: Theft of cycles/cycle crime 

You Said: 

Summer months mean more people are utilising their bikes to get around and are concerned of having them stolen.

What we are going to do: 

We will regularly hold events, including bike register/marking events, to engage with the community, passing relevant safety advice and tips to secure their property and reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime. We will also hold specific operations targeting illegal e-bikes and e-scooters in our open spaces, as well as targeting the offenders who we know are stealing or damaging other peoples property.
