Shed Burglary Near You - Springhead Road

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a shed burglary that occurred on Springhead Road, this occurred in the early hours of the Sunday 28th June between 0415hrs and 0432hrs the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

3 suspects approach shed and and use force to nap lock on the shed.. once inside they have stolen and e-bike worth £4500.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 0400hrs-0445hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
