Community alert: Vehicle Theft Vigilance near Briar Lane / Mount Park

Dear Neighbors, please stay alert. We have received reports of organized vehicle thefts operating near the junction of Briar Lane and Mount Park ( Carshalton).

A group has been spotted changing stolen vehicles in the early morning hours ( around 4:00 AM - 5:00 AM). Recent vehicles involved include a black SUV and a Large red SUV ( plate: PY72 GWP). Suspects wear balaclavas and are accompanied by individual on e-bikes.

Even though this sits just outside our ward boundary, crime knows no borders. Please secure your vehicles, use tracking devices/ steering locks, and report any suspicious activity immediately to 999  ( in progress) or 101.
