Officers from Rochdale North Neighbourhood team are out in the area this evening ahead of England’s World Cup match against Panama, with increased patrols around licensed premises.
We’re here to ensure that everyone can enjoy the match safely.
Whilst this is a time for celebration and we want everyone to enjoy themselves; it is important to keep in mind that violence - including violence against women and girls (VAWG) - can increase during football matches.
