Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Yesterday, your local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) executed a warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act as part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the area. As a result, one male was arrested for possession of Class A drugs, and a firearm was seized. Our local SNT continues to work proactively with members of the community to gather information, take positive action, and keep New Malden Village safe.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
