Patrol Update – Wembley Area (25/06/2026) |
||
|
On Thursday 25/06/2026, PCSO Baker observed a moped contravening a traffic sign by failing to comply with the instructions of a lawfully placed road sign, contrary to Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act 1988. The vehicle was stopped, and the rider was spoken to. A Traffic Offence Report was issued, and words of advice were given before the rider continued their journey.
During patrol, PCSO Baker and PCSO Alem encountered a male rough sleeping outside Lodge Court, Wembley. The male was known to officers for previous shoplifting offences within Wembley. Checks revealed the male was in breach of his immigration bail conditions. He was detained by PCSO Baker, subsequently arrested, and conveyed to custody.
Shortly afterwards PCSO Baker attention was drawn to Chatsworth Avenue, Wembley where two males engaged in street drinking and behaving in a rowdy manner, causing nuisance and annoyance to members of the public. Following checks, two Anti-Social Behaviour warning notices were issued, and both individuals were directed to leave the area to prevent further incidents.
If you are aware of any anti-social behaviour hotspot locations, please report them to us so we can include these in our patrol plans.
Finally, a big thank you to Park Lane Primary School for inviting us to attend their annual summer fair on 24/06/2026. It was a great couple of hours, and we hope everyone who attended enjoyed the event.
