Community Update – Day of Action (23 June)

On 23 June, officers from the St Pancras & Somers Town Safer Neighbourhood Team, alongside colleagues from the local Town Centre Teams, carried out a dedicated day of action across the area.

Despite the extreme heat, officers were out engaging proactively to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. Activity during the day included:

Multiple stop and searches of individuals suspected of being involved in drug-related activity

Stopping vehicles believed to be linked to criminality

An arrest for public order offences

Gathering key intelligence to support future enforcement, including potential warrants and closure orders**

These operations are an important part of our ongoing work to reduce crime, disrupt drug activity, and keep the community safe.
