🚨 Community Safety Message – Hot Weather & Burglaries 🚨

As the warm weather continues, we want to remind residents to stay vigilant and protect their homes.

During hot days, doors and windows are often left open to keep cool. Unfortunately, this can create opportunities for opportunistic burglars.

👮‍♂️ Please take a few simple precautions:

Always lock doors and windows when leaving the house – even for a short time.

Avoid leaving windows fully open at the front or accessible areas.

Keep valuables (phones, laptops, car keys) out of sight.

Be mindful of who may be watching when windows or doors are open.

Ensure sheds, garages, and gates are secured.

Consider using timers on lights if you're out in the evening.

👀 Look out for your neighbours – if you see anything suspicious, report it.
