Distraction Thefts Update

On Wednesday 24th June 

Due to an increase in distraction thefts, the Cheam SNT have visited and completed crime prevention talks at,

Bethal Court sheltered accommodation, International Cafe meet up, and Dementia Club in Cheam Village. 

Watch your belongings ; 

Thieves frequently work in pairs,if someone approaches you to sign a fake petition, wipe something off your coat,or ask an urgent question, stay aware of where your bag and pockets are. 

Be aware of your surroundings! 

Be conscious if approached by strangers asking for help.
