Male charged after burglary at Sainsbury's King Street W6 on 23rd June

On 23rd June 2026 at 0315 hrs officers from Hammersmith response team attended an intruder alarm at Sainsbury's on Kings Street. They found it had been broken into. Hammersmith & Fulham CCTV monitored the premises and spotted one of the suspects making off on a bike. The CCTV operator maintained visual contact and guided our officers towards the fleeing suspect. Once detained, he was searched and found in possession of a large amount of believed stolen cash. 

Jay Adams, born 1992, was today charged with the offence and placed before the courts. 

This was another great example of community crime fighting.
