Neighbourhood Policing Week |
||
|
This weekend, members of the Plympton Neighbourhood Policing team, alongside colleagues from Crownhill, Police Specials and our Police Chaplain, attended the Lamb Feast on Saturday 20th June.
We had a fantastic day engaging with the local community. Our police stand was very popular, with children enjoying the opportunity to try on police uniform, have their fingerprints taken and collect police stickers. They even got the chance to lock their parents in the cage of the van. Our police mascot, Bravo, was also a huge hit too and brought plenty of smiles throughout the day!
On Sunday 21st June, the Plympton Neighbourhood Team attended the Motor Show at Newnham Park, where we enjoyed meeting visitors, chatting with car enthusiasts and offering crime prevention and road safety advice. We again had lots of engagement with children, giving out stickers and colouring in, and offered for the children to sit in the police car and put the blue lights on.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to speak with us over the weekend. We always value these opportunities to engage with our community, answer questions, and build positive relationships.
Enjoy the hot weather! Plympton Neighbourhood Team
