Community Engagement at Ken Aston Square 👮♀️🌟 On Saturday 20th June 2026, PCSO Naz from Fairlop Ward attended a community event at Ken Aston Square, Barkingside High Street, hosted by Vision Redbridge Culture. A big thank you to Miss Ebony and her team for the warm welcome and for organising such a vibrant event, which saw over 200 people in attendance. Throughout the day, I engaged with local residents, families, and young children, sharing crime prevention advice (CPA) leaflets and discussing important topics such as pickpocketing, scams, mobile phone theft, and safety in car parks. There was also a small incident involving anti-social behaviour, where I addressed individuals drinking in the area. They were given strong words of advice and asked to move on, helping to ensure the environment remained safe and suitable for families and children attending the event. It was great to take part in activities and interact with the community in such a positive setting. Members of the public were pleased to see police presence, and most importantly, they felt safe, reassured, and supported. Events like these are key to building trust, strengthening relationships, and keeping our communities safe. A fantastic day all round! 🌞 #CommunityPolicing #FairlopWard #Engagement #SaferCommunities #MetPolice #Redbridge
