Good evening, Resident, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the lovely weather. I just wanted to provide a small snapshot on some of the local officer activity in the town centre area over the last week or two. Patrols attended a property on High Street, Ramsgate following concerns raised that the address was being used as a brothel. This resulted in the arrest of two individuals for immigration offences. An 18 year old male was arrested outside KFC, Queen Street, Ramsgate in relation to drug supply offencesPatrols attended Waitrose, Queen Street, Ramsgate following reports of a shoplifting. A 32 year old male was later arrested and has been charged with 2 x theft offences. A 43 year old male was arrested in Charlotte Court, Ramsgate following reports of a disturbance. He has been charged with public order offences and assault on emergency worker. Three individuals have been arrested for breach of their Community Protection Notice's (CPN). Each individual was subsequently charged with 4 x breach of CPN. A 46 year old male was located and arrested for recall to prison. Patrols attended Ellington Park, Ramsgate following reports of anti-social behaviour. Two e-scooters were subsequently seized from the young persons involved, along with dispersal powers used to remove them from the area. 2 x males stopped on Church Hill, Ramsgate using e-scooters - both seized for destruction. The June surgery took place today - an apology to anyone who may have attended after 15:30 hours to speak with us - unfortunately, we were called away to an emergency.
