Young Citizen Project

PC Kirwan and PC Savage-Knight attended the Young Citizens Project in Thamesmead this week.  They were delivering training to Year 6 pupils who are about to transit to secondary schools across Greenwich and Bexley boroughs.

All of the emergency services were represented. It is a fantastic day of discussion and education on how to positively contribute to society, including how to detect and report crime.

The topics discussed included: the impact of hate Crime and Violence Against Women and Girls, how to report crime and how to safely be a bystander,  amongst others.

Everything was well contributed to by the pupils who did ever so well in very hot weather.
